TOPSweb, LLC launches a new tech blog for entrepreneurs and small businesses at Mr. Tech Tools at https://mrtechtools.com. The focus is to provide useful information for these business types to be more productive and have the latest and greatest tools and an affordable cost. The blog will focus on tutorials, helpful tips, product and software reviews.
We’ve been playing with releasing a blog with more breadth at TOPSweb; however, we wanted to do something with more breadth that is bigger than the web. In doing so we will most certainly talk about technology but we can go even broader if it helps people become better at what they do.
MrTechTools will be a content-rich site. When we first launched the site we tried to do affiliate product reviews first to try and get some revenue to pay for the site and that was a disaster. We then couldn’t get any ad revenue because it was audited as a spam site and we weren’t even doing that at all. So now we are being a lot more careful of what we put out there between releasing the reviews with an affiliate link. We want to ensure this site is first and foremost a benefit to its readers. We’ll let its popularity then provide us compensation.
We have other projects coming soon with a relaunch of our health and fitness blog and a food blog/recipe site which is being built now.
